Welcome to the Law Office of Bob Burton and the Mix!

Thank you for dropping by my website: The Mix. I hope that you'll find it an enjoyable mix of law and other matters of interest to you.

I concentrate on several specific areas of law, but don't worry...if I don't handle a particular matter, we can always point you to someone who does. Also, please know that whether it's a legal matter or an information request, we are at your service.

Now, feel free to grab a cup of coffee or tea, sit back and enjoy yourself....Well, at least at much as you can when pondering legal matters.

Who We Are

I have been practicing law since 1994, and opened my own law office in downtown Prattville in 1997. My Legal Assistant, Shyla Sheridan, has worked with me for several years, and my wife, Sharon, comes in to assist us as needed. We strive to offer legal assistance with competitive fees in a friendly, relaxed environment.

About Us

What Sets Us Apart

Rather than having a General Law Practice, I concentrate on estate planning (simple or complex wills and trusts), probate matters, business matters (LLC's and Corporations), and real estate (closings). I have chosen not to handle certain areas of law, such as, divorce, child custody, criminal defense, bankruptcy, lawsuits of any type, and other matters of that nature.  However, we would be happy to help you find another attorney who can assist in those areas.

The 4 Spiritual Laws: Be sure to check them out before you go! While we may discuss important matters with you, there's nothing more important than this information.

I'm sure you've always wondered about the statement: "No representation is made that the quality of the legal services to be performed is greater than the quality of legal services performed by other lawyers." Rule 7.2(e) of Alabama's Rules of Professional Conduct requires it in all communications concerning a lawyer's services.
